What Tournamint records about how it is used

The Tournamint app, the Tournamint.AI site and console, and event pages record how they are used, so the people who build Tournamint can see what is used and what does not work. This page describes only that recording. It does not describe the records an event keeps to run — registrations, rosters, scores — which are separate.

What is recorded

• Which screens and pages are opened, and on the website, how far down a page is scrolled and how long it was open.
• Which buttons, tabs and filters are used, named by what they are, never by anything typed into them.
• How a piece of work ended — a sync, a refund, a calendar export, a ticket check — and how long it took. Never an amount, a name or a ticket's contents.
• When the app comes to the front and goes to the background, how quickly pages load, and when something breaks, by the kind of error only.
• On event pages, which page of which event was viewed. Event pages run no script: each view is counted by the server when the page's image loads, with no identifier at all.

What is never recorded

Your name, email address, phone number or account. Any player, guardian, official or staff member. Anything you type or read on a screen. Your location. An advertising identifier. Your IP address or browser details are not stored. Nothing is shared with or sold to anyone, and none of it is used to follow you across other websites or apps.

Where it goes, and for how long

To Tournamint's own servers and nowhere else: no third-party analytics service is involved. Your device or browser is given a random identifier, made on first use and not connected to you; if you are signed in, the organisation and event you are looking at and your role in it (director, scorer, and so on) are attached, never your account. The records are deleted automatically after 400 days.

Turning it off

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, nothing is recorded, including the view counts on event pages. In the app, the setting is under Settings. On this website and the console, use the switch below; it applies to this browser.
